Support of Missions

From the very beginning, the Covenant Church has had a heart for missions and sharing God’s love with the world. The first name given to our early members was “Mission Friends,” a name that beautifully captured their desire to serve others in Christ’s name. It was later changed to Evangelical Mission Covenant, and more recently to the Evangelical Covenant Church of America. That same spirit continues to inspire us today.

As a church family, we joyfully give 13% of our annual budget to support our career, short-term, and project missionaries in 20 countries. We also support Covenant World Relief and Development, which brings hope through disaster relief and sustainable development projects all over the world. Together, we’re honored to be part of what God is doing near and far to make His love known.
